摘要

A diode-laser-array single-end-pumped CW Nd:YVO_4 laser, capable of producing maximum TEM_00 mode output power of 15 W, has been demonstrated. At the incident pumping power of 24 W, the output power of 13.8 was obtained, leading to an optical coversion efficiency of 57.5/100, and the slop efficiency of 66.7/100. It shown that only with Nd:YVO_4 CRYSTALS OF LOW nD~3+ concentration, the laser can beoperated efficiently under high pump power levels.
