摘要

With the development of sol-gel technique, porous silica glass with nanometer pores that can be used as the matrix of nanometer composite has shown its unique advantages. Compor sites by planting active elements into the micro pores of the porous glass have great potential value in the applications of optical nonlinearity, sensors and electronic materials. Active elements could be dispersed into porous silica in nanometer scale by sol-gel technique. The composited materials may show specific properties through size effects. TiO_2 is a weak polar dielectric but when it is planted into porous silica, strong optical nonlinearity is shown. TiO_2 is a good candidate material for oxygen sensing. Various crystalline structure of TiO_2 provides different application backgrounds, Study of the crystalline behavior of TiO_2 in porous silica will lay a solid foundation for its applications.
