In June, the PWB industry and its suppliers once again descended on Washington D.C. What the group lacked in numbers it made up in spirit. The attendance was modest but there was a reasonable balance this year with suppliers such as MacDermid, Rohm and Haas, RBP and Biirkle matched by companies such as Assembleon, Colonial Circuits, Hallmark Circuits, Hunter Technology, Janco, L-3 Communications, One Source and Phillips. Overall, there were about thirty stalwart individuals representing the industry's need for continued investment in the Crane Naval Research Center (Crane, IN), as well as urging the U.S. government's pressure on China to properly value its currency.
