Put very briefly, LPKF produces systems and machines for electronics production. It is the world market leader for laser systems for the production of solder paste stencils and wafer stencils, as well as for environmentally friendly solutions for rapid PCB prototyping. LPKF has 248 employees, and generated a turnover of ?34.9 million in 2005. This was achieved with a sizeable EBIT of 17.2% and an equally impressive growth in turnover: approximately 30%. Around half of its business takes place in Asia. The company has been publicly listed since 1998.
