An underwater hotel being planned for a coral reef site in Dubayy (Dubai), part of the United Arab Emirates, will feature 21 rooms, a bar, and an underwater diving center with an air lock, all housed within a disk-shaped structure located as much as 10 m below sea level. The underwater facilities will also include a decompression chamber that can be used both for training divers and for those who wish to dive to greater depths than are available at the hotel.
