Purdue University invites applications and nominations for the Bowen Engineering Head of the School of Civil Engineering. The School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, is consistently ranked among the select top schools of civil engineering in the nation. The School currently has 58 faculty members, 42 staff members, an undergraduate enrollment of nearly 550, a graduate enrollment of over 375, and annual research expenditures in excess of $26 million. The School offers leading research and education programs in various sub-disciplines of study, including architectural, geomatics, construction, geotechnical, hydraulics and hydrology, structural, environmental, materials, and transportation engineering. In addition to a 92,000 square-foot (assignable) Civil Engineering building, the School's facilities include the world class Bowen laboratory dedicated to discovery and dissemination of knowledge to achieve high performance and resilient infrastructure systems. The School is also home to NSF's $105 million Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES) operations center.
