A portion of the former steelworks in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is being converted into a unique casino and hotel project. Considered the nation's largest brownfkld site, the project faced strict environmental regulations and featured extensive use of exposed steel to commemorate the site's approximately 140 years of industrial activity. Arughly 124-acre portion of the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation's 1,100-acre steel-works in Bethlehem, Pennsyl-vania, is being converted into an entertainment, retail, and tourism complex that will feature a casino, a hotel, a shopping concourse, and a multipurpose convention facility.
