Located on A triangular piece of land in Detroit at the intersection of Michigan and Cass avenues, the new Rosa Parks Transit Center features a two-story terminal as well as a visually complex fabric canopy structure designed to protect bus lanes from the weather. The canopy directs snow and rain into specially designed rain gardens while offering a striking visual counterpoint to the transit center's neighboring buildings.
