Doosan has announced a new wheeled loader, designed for heavy-duty applications in the agriculture, waste and recycling sectors.The new DL280-5 is the latest development in the high performance wheeled loader range, which now includes 13 different models ranging from 12 to 36 tonnes. It features a front lift arm powered by a closed centre hydraulic system with a 210 litres per minute axial piston pump. This is designed to give maximum performance without producing excess capacity - thus saving fuel and extending the life of key components, it is claimed.The new model also features Z-bar kinematics with a single lift piston system, giving a constant bucket angle. Breakout force is 145kN. The lift arm benefits from an automatic load isolation system (LIS) - effectively a ride control - to provide improved driver comfort over undulating ground.
