After 12 years as editor, and almost 15 years at CIWM, this will be my final editor's comment. I am sure you will be aware of some of the changes here at CIWM and the recent communication regarding future plans for the Journal, all of which means that I shall now be seeking a new challenge. To every one of you that has taken the trouble to contribute, thank you. I said from day one of my editorship that this was "a journal for members, by members"... it is a forum for discussion and debate, and all of your contributions have helped it be just that. There have been contributors at the very top of this industry who have taken the time to respond to our requests for insight and comment - I am hugely grateful. There have been others at the start of their journey in waste and resources - I hope being allowed to contribute too, has helped you.
