The "Internet of Things" (IoT) is the internetworking of "things", computing devices, machines, objects, animals and people that collects and exchanges information, letting them talk to us, applications and each other. Artificial intelligence (AI), conversely, is the machine or the "brain" that enables analytics and decisionmaking from the data collected by the IoT. In short, the IoT collects the data and AI processes it, in order for us to understand it. Together they are the perfect partnership - one providing the data, the other interpreting and learning from it.
