We all know by now the philosophy of the circular economy, but we are still unsure where we want to get to and how we are going to get there. The destination and journey for the circular economy are being developed. The EU defines the circular economy as: "[preserving] the value added to products for as long as possible and virtually eliminating waste. It retains the resources within the economy when a product has reached the end its life, so that they remain in productive use and create further value."
