LITTER STRATEGY: It has been another busy month, with Defra's forthcoming Litter Strategy being one of the top priorities for CIWM technical manager. Tina Benfield. She attended a meeting in early November with Lord Gardiner at which he outlined his continued support for the work, and the strategy is now at the full draft stage. The Advisory Group is reviewing the draft and working with the various sub-groups feeding into the strategy, including infrastructure, communications and behaviour change, highways, and enforcement.
