I trust all our members, and our readers who aren't members, enjoyed a fabulous festive season, and may I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year. Of course, this is the time for resolutions and fresh starts, and if you fall into that bracket of "reader" but are not yet a member, then I have your resolution right here for you… and those of you that are members, well there's always the full Chartered Waste Manager status to go for in 2016… As you'll read in just a few pages time, 2015 was a big year for the waste and resources industry, and our look back at the last 12 months highlights the biggest stories and the key themes. The year couldn't have ended with anything "bigger" than the Circular Economy Package, of course, and our content this issue certainly reflects that, and sets us up nicely for some more debate and discussion for the year ahead.
