It"s Saturday 13 February 2016. Yesterday was my last day in Kent. Monday is my first day in Cambridgeshire. This morning I cleared my desk, sifted through the drawers, and rummaged among files on shelves. My eagerness to get the job done was slowed by many a distraction. Yesteryears' ambitions, targets and policies caught my attention. At some I smiled - we'd come a long way. At others I frowned - why-didn't we push harder? At the rest I raised my eyebrows -what had I been thinking!

The collaborations analysed span academia, civil society and government, from the grassroots to the national and global levels. The featured case studies are explored through the perspectives of both researchers and their partners in civil society and policy.
