Tackling food waste is a key priority for food manufacturers to make sure what we have goes further and to conserve the natural resources on which future production depends. In order to tackle waste wherever it arises in the supply chain, from farm to fork, our members felt it important to be able to demonstrate sound waste management in their own operations. Of course, this does not mean we are ignoring households where most food waste arises.
