Can you tell us about your career and a few projects you've been involved in? "My career spans the public, private and voluntary sectors. Previous rotes include being the designated National Lottery Officer for the second-largest London Borough, community sports development in the West Midlands, sustainable transport marketing manager at Essex County Council, and coordinating community investment opportunities for a national environmental regeneration charity. I joined Warwickshire County Council's Waste Management Group in 2008 and my key projects have included supporting a £122m Energy to Waste PR programme led by Staffordshire County Council and overseeing the development and construction of a new £3m recycling centre, re-use shop and waste transfer station on the Warwickshire / Staffordshire border. I also served as the sole local government practitioner on the Local Government Association's Reuse Commission, being interviewed live on BBC TV last year coinciding with publication of the LGA's Routes to Reuse."
