At a specially arranged recent seminar, four leading figures from the electronic waste recycling industry met to discuss the Future of WEEE along with around 40 attendees from electronics producers, local authorities, government and recycling companies in the audience. Organised by European Recycling Platform (ERP), the four guest speakers provided insights into WEEE recycling from the USA to Africa, tackling the themes of eco-design and individual producer responsibility along the way. Despite differing areas of expertise, the four agreed on a number of points which point towards the "future of WEEE".
