Specialist waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) recycler, Environcom, acquired WEEE recycling business, Overton Recycling, from administration in January. The move will secure and safeguard some 50 jobs at Overton's West Midlands site, and provides certainty over the Overton Recycling's long-term future, Environcom said in a statement. The acquisition is intended to enhance Environcom's position in the WEEE recycling industry, adding a third site and creating increased processing capacity.
