摘要

The Waste Prevention Benefits Calculator enables Local Authorities to assess the impact of their waste prevention actions in tonnage, carbon and cost terms. Developed by a consortium of 15 Local Authorities with Defra and WRAP in conjunction with CIWM and the Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee (LARAC), the Waste Prevention Benefits Calculator draws on the latest data and research to enable Local Authorities to evaluate the costs and benefits of waste prevention initiatives in their local context. The Waste Prevention Benefits Calculator is available to Local Authorities on an annual subscription basis. Local authorities are also invited to join the consortium to benefit from the work being undertaken and to enable the continued development of the tool.
