Hands up if you don't think continuing professional development (CPD) is worth bothering with? Hands up if you groan or flip quickly past anything extolling the virtue of CPD? Hands up if you don't need to keep up-to-date with current issues at work, or need to develop existing skills in order to be more effective at what you do? Hands up if you don't think you need to adapt to a changing industry? If any of you put your hand up then, in reality, at some point in the near future you will become ineffective, out of date and overtaken by others who have bothered to keep up-to-date with the latest thinking in the industry.
