The ISWA WMAA Australian Landfill and Transfer Stations Conference 2013 - Pre-conference workshop saw a number of Australia's landfill gas consultants, landfill operators and third party gas-to-energy contractors gather to discuss landfill gas. This one-day workshop focussed on the issues and opportunities associated with landfill gas and carbon management at landfill sites. It was an interactive workshop featuring international and local speakers, including myself. I delivered a paper in association with John Naylor from Ground Gas Solutions on "The use of continuous gas monitors to assess risk from operational and closed landfill sites and interpretation of data."
