It's Been more that five years since the whole concept of an electrically powered bin-lift was launched by Icelandic manufacturer Ecoprocess... Now everyone is keen to get in on the act. First there was Zoeller and now comes its arch-rival, Terberg Matec, with the electric Omnidel. The Terberg team is very excited at the prospect of offering an environmentally friendly solution that enables the truck engine to shut down while the lifters are working, as well as helping reduce the overall noise "footprint". It's taken a while, but this could be one "electric" application that really could catch on...
