Despite its name Overton Recycling Limited (ORL) does more than recycle, it's heavily involved with re-use too. I discussed some of the issues processors face - from the varying quality in material between business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) streams to manufacturers' concerns - with Mr Overton himself. ORL is a privately owned waste electrical and electronics recycler. The company is licensed to process 45000 tonnes of non-hazardous (electrical) waste annually and 30000 tonnes of hazardous (electrical) waste. It partners with both private companies and local authorities, as well as numerous schools and hospitals.
