Formed and ready to fit hopper floor swing links are manufactured by Abraservice in a number of abrasion resistant steel grades and supplied to many OEM and maintenance suppliers across Europe, with materials being selected to meet the specific application needs and usage of each customer. In this case study, the Creusabro 4800 was selected as the specialist steel as it combines both resistance to abrasion together with a high level of toughness and an increased amount of corrosion resistance to combat the effects of acidic juice and other fluids due to the higher chromium content in this grade of steel.
