Last month we ran the CIWM Reader Survey 2009 and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of those that took part. This type of survey really is invaluable in helping us to keep on producing the journal that you, the members and subscribers want, while your ideas and suggestions have, once again, given us plenty of food for thought regarding what is to come for the year ahead. Having asked you to take part I also feel it only fair to share with you some of the findings of the survey, which actually made very enjoyable reading. The subjects that most readers are interested in include alternative technologies, energy from waste and reduce, re-use, recycle - three topics that we had already identified as key to our roster for 2010. Indeed the keen-eyed among you will have noticed that when asked about possible issue themes, recycling and alternative technologies were among those suggested.
