Gate fees for similar treatment options can vary substantially across and within regions, according to the latest WRAP Gate Fees Report. The Report also highlights that gate fees at materials recovery facilities (MRFs) and landfill sites remain lower than those for incineration, while open-air windrow (OAVV) gate fees are lower than those at in-vessel composting (IVC) and mechanical biological treatment facilities, as was the case in last years report. Most wood reprocessors, however, have found that gate fees have increased since last year.
