Over recent months CIRIA has conducted an online survey, to investigate what the industry considers to be the key issues in relation to waste, and the key information resources on the topic that are used by professionals in the construction, demolition and excavation (CD&E) sector. It flagged up some interesting results.rnFor example, most respondents use their own Site Waste Management Plan (SWMP) template, rather than one of those available from organisations such as the Environment Agency, WRAP or independent consultants. In addition,rnmost respondents indicated that the key issues are re-using and recycling on site; reducing waste in the supply chain; and making waste management work on site.
