Waste and recycling to anyone not involved in the industry probably sounds like a rather bland and uninteresting subject. But to those of us who are involved, we know it is a very different picture.rnThe focus on our industry is growing at an astonishing rate. Driven by a mixture of legislation and a clear sense of environmental responsibility, it is something that affects everyone.rnIt is not just the public that produces waste. More than twice as much waste is produced from the industrial and commercial sectors. Huge changes are taking place in the largest corporations. Companies are taking responsibility for their products and seizing the opportunity to manage their resources from cradle to grave.rnAnyone who doubts the global importance of this subject need look no further than our recent JCB Waste Days for proof. Around 500 people from across the world attended the JCB World Headquarters to learn more about the industry and how we are working in it.
