Swansea docks was the scene for these two JCB tracked excavators to get to work on retrieving the remains of a dilapidated vessel on behalf of demolition and waste contractor, Stenor Environmental.The vessel, believed to be a cargo ship that ran aground around 70 years ago, was at risk of breaking up and floating into the main shipping canal, so 70 tonnes of partly coroded metal had to be dismantled in just two days, which was complicated further by the fact the wreckage was only accessible at low tide.
