Holiday season has arrived and we will all be looking to get a week or two away. At this time of the year, just how deep is our need and commitment to recycle. We recycle at home and at work, at the supermarket and even now at the airport; haven't we come a long way in the last couple of years? Let's think about the last time you went away for a holiday. The skies were blue, you had applied factor 30 sunscreen and you were enjoying a good book on one of the most attractive beaches in the UK. To quench your thirst you purchase bottles of soft drinks from one of the many beach vendors and the empty PET bottle is now in your hand ready for disposal, re-use or recycling. So what do you do with it? Where do you put it? What are you thinking about? Is recycling really the mainstream activity that everybody claims it is?
