Construction of the Dargavel energy from waste (EfW) facility near Dumfries,in Scotland,continues apace.Since the site was acquired in May 2006 the project,being developed by Scotgen through Ascot Environmental and a dedicated team of consultants and suppliers,has gone through the "technology due diligence" procedures (with energy company RWE),received approval for its amended planning permission and completion is due in early 2008,with operation commencing later next year.
