For those familiar with the film 'Being John Malkovich', they will recognise the reference to Future Perfect, the latest offering from Biffa. The contents of which can be likened to taking a tour inside the head of the infamous Peter Jones - full of interesting facts and perceptions, although not always easy to follow. Well known on the conference circuit and beyond for his frank and open comments relating to resource management, Peter Jones's inimitable style is present throughout the report. Future Perfect, the fifth in a series of publications from Biffa, contributes to the debate on waste and associated environmental issues. It provides an insight, based on different scenarios and assumptions of what waste management will look like in 2020, identifying a range of policy drivers, initiatives, instruments and mechanisms proposed to overcome barriers to achieving more sustainable management of waste.
