Work has started on the new North London Heat and Power Project, in Edmonton, to replace the existing energy-recovery facility. Operational for 45 years, the old site will continue to function during the works. The new facility will supply heat and power, divert waste away from landfill, and serve as a public reuse and recycling centre.
