Japanese automaker Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. have launched the new Cima, which went on sale in May at Nissan dealers nationwide in Japan. Nissan has set a sales target of 1,000 units per year. The hybrid electric vehicle qualifies for preferential tax breaks under the Japanese tax system to promote the diffusion of environmentally friendly vehicles. It is fully exempt from the automobile acquisition tax and automobile weight tax.
