The Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) is holding a seminar, 21st Century Cleanrooms, in London on 30 September, 2009 to examine the latest developments in the cleanroom industry - from energy consumption and 'greener' cleanrooms to the latest filtration standards and regulatory approval guidelines.rnThe opening address will be given by Professor Colin Pillinger, of the Planetary and Space Science Research Institute, Open University. As the leader of the Beagle project, he has many years of experience in using cleanrooms. Greg Kiernan, senior engineer at SciTech, will then consider non-mechanical air cleaning techniques.
