Background A hemosiderotic fibrohistiocytic lipomatous lesion, also called hemosiderotic fibrolipomatous tumor, is a rare and recently described fibrolipomatous entity. Initially considered the result of a reactive inflammatory process from trauma or vascular disease, newer evidence suggests it may be neoplastic in origin.
