The CHA 2005 Attitude and Usage Study reports that 52 percent of households have at least one member who has ever participated in painting and finishing projects, and 31 percent have done so in the past 12 months. Breaking that figure out further, 9 percent participated in home decor painting, 6 percent in decorative painting and 4 percent in stenciling. This suggests that consumers want more ideas recommending paint to decorate their living spaces.
