China's largest oil company SINOPEC has renewed operations at its refinery in Wuhan after awarding a contract in March to industrial laser technology company LASE GmbH to provide a heap volume measurement for the refinery.rnThe petcoke heap at the refinery has a length of 120m and a width of 35m. Two LD OEM 3100 laser scanners have been installed on the crane bridge, while an HD P 600 laser distance meter measures the position of the crane bridge.
