Mining equipment manufacturers are responding to growing global demand for coal by developing larger and more advanced machines to ensure that supply can meet this demand Caterpillar Inc. is the largest manufacturer of surface coal mining mobile equipment providing mining trucks, large wheel loaders, crawler dozers, wheel dozers, motor graders and wheel tractor-scrapers. It seems that as demand for coal grows, so does the size and sophistication of mobile mining equipment.
