摘要

Like all librarians, special/corporate libraries face change everyday. Many of them are very different in many ways than they were ten years ago. Many have moved from the delivery of information in books and print-based journals to that in virtual resources. These resources may be accessed online through subscription services or may be created and stored in-house. Corporate libraries publish in-house standards, specifications, policies/procedures, and work instructions that document and support their processes. Library personnel in these types of environments must be flexible and innovative and must be able to work collaboratively with a variety of professionals with different backgrounds.
