摘要

Non -woven fabrics arc the products made up of parallel,cross and randomly oriented laid webs which are bondedwith application of adhesives or thermoplastics fibers under heat and pressure.The spun bond process is used forproduction of non -woven PP fabrics .PP dominates the production of spun bonded webs because they can be onlymade from synthetic melt spin able polymers,cost effective,low cost and availability of bulk quantities of PP plays animportant role.Spun bonded fabrics have an isotropic structure,very strong,have extensibility.Components of spunbond process generally includes a polymer feed,an extruder,a metering pump,a die assembly ,a filament spinning,adrawing and deposition system,a web formation,a bonding zone and a winding .The purpose of this study is to havea detailed study of non- woven fabrics,spun bond technology,processes,markets and future prospects.
