The government has decided to dispose of all the 21 textile mills under Bangladesh Textile Mills Corporation (BTMC) and avoid the losses the mills concerned have been incurring every year, officials said. According to the available official data, the mills under BTMC incurred about Tk 6.0 billion losses during the last 10 years.
