Sandler AG has launched the start-up phase of a new production line for meltblown filter media just four months after commencing installation and assembly. line VS 61 is already producing materials for commercial sales and enhances the nonwovens manufacturer's capacities for the production of meltblown media. "At Sandier, this technology is particularly applied for the manufacture of highly efficient synthetic filter media. The new production line can process diverse thermoplastic raw materials and is equipped with different nozzle systems," the company said in a statement.
