We all are probably aware that our Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh recently visited Bangladesh to promote trade relations between the 2 countries. While the visit probably garnered more publicity for the political fallout with Mamata Banerjee and her subsequent absence in the wake of the proposed water-sharing treaty, the visit held a great relevance to our Indian Textile Industry, and not necessarily for the right reasons.
