THE Rs 18 billion - Kanpur based integrated textile company - Shri Laxmi Cotsyn is in the final leg of its Rs 9.97 billion expansion plan of its denim fabrics, sheeting and technical textiles divisions. It is expected that most of the expanded facilities will be operational by the year-end. Apart from this, it is setting up new production facilities to manufacture blackout fabric used in curtains, flex fabrics, nuclear bio-chemical fabrics and multi-spectrum camouflage net as well as infrared reflector fabric.
