SS Slathia, Jammu & Kashmir Minister for Industries and Commerce, has raised a demand for revival of the conventional handloom weaving by fusing modern day designs into latest trendy fabrics that well match the present day market trends and consumer preferences.Addressing a group of handloom weavers at a buyer-seller meet organized by the J&K Handloom Development Department, the Minister said that handloom items of Jammu & Kashmir are well-known and liked by customers across the globe.
