TEXTILE units with exposure in export markets are likely to put a cap on recruitment as their business shows a downturn in the US and Europe. Exports to new markets like Russia and Japan have also slowed down. There is a fear that if this situation continues, some units may cease to operate. The exporters, who were optimistic about enhancing their presence in the domestic market, are now war)1 of duty-free apparel imports from Bangladesh.
