A Jute expo, organised by the Hyderabad regional office of the National Jute Board, was inaugurated in the Ambedkar Bhavan recently by the Additional Commissioner (Finance) of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, Mr. P. Poornachandra Rao. It will be on till November 10. Mr Narasimhulu, an official of the NJB, said on the occasion there was growing awareness of the perils of plastic and con-sequendy the public was preferring eco-friendly jute diversified products.
