COATING machines that convert fabrics into a variety of useful apparel, medical and industrial products, occupy the prime position among fabric surface finishing machines. Globally, in terms of both machine manufacturers and their machine models, this surface finishing has the largest number as the coated fabrics continuously find growing use in many areas such as in: 1. Functional clothing - general outerwear, sportswear, rainwear and protective wear, the first three breathable as well, 2. Medical and hygienic uses - surgical textiles, mattresses and pillow covers, 3. Shoes, carpets and leather goods - shoe interlining, carpet backing and luggage bags, 4. Automobile interiors - door and side panels, headliners and seat covers, 5. Interlinings from woven and non-woven fabrics - in shirt collars and coat linings, and 6. Ultra-filtration.
